Very comfortable and great sounding headphones with good isolation
Very comfortable and great sounding headphones with good isolation, but if you can, get the 600 ohm version (new or old) they sound just perfect, the 250 ohm has scooped mids (still decent though) Also make sure you use genuine Beyerdynamic pads as they sound completely different if the cheap ones are used, you may as well not have these headphones if you fit them. The sound is so different. Balanced sound.
Using these phones for live recording gives a very good indication as to what the sound is going to be like when finally monitoring on a good speaker system. From the very low frequencies to the very high they sound balanced and individual sounds are clean and clear so any distortion is easily noticed. They are very comfortable to wear for a long period with a reasonable level of isolation for external noise making them good for detecting unwanted sounds in the mix. They are also very good for listening to your favourite LP.Using these phones for live recording gives a very good indication as to what the sound is going to be like when finally monitoring on a good speaker system. amazing
that headphones are simply amazing, i've bought 250ohms version as i wanted them for practicing on amp and they're just perfect. sound quality will blow your mind off! best buy this year without doubt. although i wouldn't recommend them for someone who's looking to use them for music listening. or at least not 250ohms version ;)

DT770pro 250 ohm
Not had too much time to test fully but more comfy than DT100/150’s. Maybe less bass with these but the overall sound is nice and sharp. Bought second hand curly cord was not as it was but was able to retwist it along its length and now back to normal. Fitted new pads would recommend and would buy again. I do have a set with mic on DT790 which are great too. The great thing is you can get spares.Not had too much time to test fully but more comfy than DT100/150’s. Quickly Fitting and Fantastic sound with proper setup to power
Amazing sound for the price when working with my Sound BlasterX AE5 with a tight at first but quickly fitting feel which is suited for hours of use. The only time I remember I have them on is when someone talks to me or when i bump the cable. If you have the money and the setup to power them then it is worth picking these up
